In a flow
I am in a flow
Since my mother’s water broke
I came into a flow of water
Sliding forward, slipping away on a journey
I am in a flow
Extend my arms to grab air
It is only a moment of gasp to realize
I am free to breathe
Clock ticking by my ears
Throw my hands to stop the rush
It is only a moment of scream to realize
There is not such thing called time
I am in a flow
Twist my legs to change the way
A force pushes it back
Relax, the curb is coming
I am marking a trail behind me
Not for you to follow: only for me to remind
My branches carrying on
I will go on in my flow
